Just a little reminder for everybody who needs to hear it. Yes, eating healthy and nutritious can get stressful or overwhelming every once in a while. But keep in mind, investing in your future will always pay off. You can do it π€ I wish everybody a delicious dinner and a wonderful week π
Our meat delivery just arrived in time for delicious pork belly on the weekend ππΌπ₯³
I prioritize getting the best quality of meat and Iβm constantly trying new options. Itβs a real challenge to find THE perfect bacon with no added sugar at all.
I can really recommend and I love their recipe ideas. Comes in handy when after-school activities get too busy with four kids π
Our appetizer of the day: Classic Mussels Mariniere ππ Simple to prepare, but adds tasty drama to the table. As you can see in the picture, we went a bit overboard with the minced garlic. Thatβs totally up to you; we just love it. See the second slide for instructions π

Todayβs Lunch π₯ Our new all-time-favorite avocado toast with wheat free bread, everything-bagel-seasoning, and in vinegar soaked grape tomatoes π₯π
We also had a bowl of tuna salad with pieces of celery and onions. And a glass of fresh green smoothie π₯¦π₯¬π₯
A perfect nutritional meal on a hot day. Easy to prep and delicious to eat π
After we dropped the girls off at their summer camp, Ian and I had a special breakfast date πΏ Great place and the avocado toast was delicious π₯π€€
This Blueberry Gin Cocktail is such a treat β especially on a 80F pool day π¦ We still had so many containers of Blueberries left from the π«-picking farm and we had to get more creative π©π»βπΎ
To begin you will need to make a simple blueberry syrup, which takes just a few minutes. Over medium-high heat blueberries, whatever sugar you prefer, and water. Reduce to simmer for about 15-minutes until you have a syrup consistency πΉ
Hope all of you had a happy 4th of July Weekend πΊπΈ We had no big plans, just hanging out at the pool all day, a delicious BBQ, and watching the fireworks.
We had homemade potato salad, with roasted zucchini (super easy and fast; only a few minutes on the grill), and tomato-mozzarella with balsamic vinaigrette π
My husband took care of the steaks and burger patties on the grill π₯© A successful holiday with the family, without feeling guilty after indulging in tons of fast food.
This place is such a gem if you are ever close by the Baltimore, MD area. I love the concept of fresh farm-to-table restaurants and this one was just exceptionally delicious. Everything was of excellent quality, a beautiful presentation, and prepared with so much love for details. Our absolute favorite was the appetizer: crispy pig ears and juicy pig cheeks π You canβt leave there without trying!! We also had seared duck and the grains risotto with mushrooms and broccoli π₯¦ Desserts were a treat as well. I loved the cocoa compassion chocolate pot de creme π

I just love chocolate. Dark melted chocolate, with triple chocolate, and chocolate chunks inside π I love to live a healthy lifestyle, but I also like to indulge with treats at special occasions. I tried to make a gluten-free, dairy-free chocolate cake with almond flour, tapioca flour, and coconut sugar π« To make it super dense, we baked a regular cake with cocoa powder, and crumbled the baked layers into a βcake-popβ kinda dough. I had no real plan, however, it was definitely a success! Have a happy day βοΈ @ Cape May, New Jersey
