Masterpieces Studio - Moody

We had another great group of babies and momas at the Doris Stanley Memorial Library this morning. I love pouring into our community and inspiring even the youngest to fall in love with music. My heart is full! 💛 I could teach 🎶 music to others all day long...oh wait...I get to 🎉inspire music in homes most every day! 💛

Looking forward to another week of music with babies and momas in our community! 💛 the program is geared for babies to 18 months, but older siblings are not excluded from enjoying the music fun with us. Be sure to sign up for the event by contacting the library.

We are now doing sign-up for our Music Mornings class on Wednesday August 30th at 10:00 AM.
We will sign-up each week for the following weeks class, there is a 6 family limit for each week, the age range is birth to 18 months.

Such precious kiddos to pour into this summer during Movers and Shakers! Had some on vacay, but these four still stole mine and Mercy's hearts! Mercy was the best classroom helper, too! Seth Gilbert, after 20 years of marriage, I adore you more than I could of ever imagined the first time I said it on Valentine's Day 21+ years ago. This has been the most beautiful 20 years of marriage. I didn't know I could be loved or love someone so much. Even in our most unlovely moments, we have chosen to allow love to cover us. You truly are my bestest friend! I'd spend all day and every day with you if I could.
I am so thankful the Lord brought you into my life. Thank you for still choosing to live for Jesus, first. Everything good, and there is a lot, has been such an amazing gift from Him.
This morning I am thinking about the dreams we started out with 20 years ago. Remember the song we wrote for our wedding together? I think that these common threads of hope and goal have continued to tie us together over the years. Yes, the blessings may look a bit different than our mind imagined back then, but our life is full of such evidence of God's goodness. I'm thankful we don't have to be perfect to daily recieve His handiwork, but that grace has woven itself through so much of our marriage and walk together. I'm thankful we keep pressing forward. I don't know what tomorrow holds for us, but I'm so thankful we have chosen to do each new tomorrow together and for the Lord. I still adore you! Love, Your Favorite Blonde

So excited to see two of our very own vocalists hitting the stage at Leeds Arts Council Theater this weekend! These little rays of sunshine have been working hard every week at camp, and, then coming to rehearse during private lessons. There are still some seats left for some of the shows, but glad I got my tickets! Russell-Kate will be Nemo, and Olivia will be Bruce the Shark. Mrs. Jessica will be cheering you on from the audience, girlies! So proud of the 🌟shining stars🌟 you are! I am so excited to see Finding Nemo, Jr!

Every Tuesday we finish 🎵Movers and Shakers🎵 with bubbles 🐠 to Camille Saint Saens's "Aquarium" section from "Carnival of Animals". I just love my preschoolers through K6! 💛

Summer Tuesday morning start with 2 to 7 year olds enjoying rhythm & rhyme stories, rhythm instruments and scarf dancing to folk tunes and classical music, and BUBBLES to Camille St Saens ' Aquarium section of Carnival of the Animals! These precious smiles leave and I am left with a smile on my face and in my heart! Honestly, one of the most enjoyable parts of my week! Come join the fun...there is still room for your little!

It's been prepandemic since I did a large group recital. These 9 did such an amazing job! We had students who had only been taking a semester all the way to a senior in the performance line up. Their talent and hard work was definitely on display! I couldn't be prouder of all these amazing young musicians. Thank you parents and extended family for supporting these precious students! You are always welcome to come visit during their weekly lessons and cheer them on from my listening chairs. I will see some of you this summer, but I pray each of you has a wonderful and blessed season of rest. Congratulations Alexandra, Melanie, Helen, Olivia, Haley Sue, Abby, Mya, Ian, and Libbi! A couple amazing students were unable to join us last minute this year, Landon and Katie, your talent was missed but you remain in my heart always...keep playing and singing for Jesus! May music fill all your hearts and homes this summer! May the Lord continue to do exceeding abundantly above all we could ask or think...you are all His MasterpieceS!

This year's mini spotlight recitals included four talented girlies! Congratulations to Rylen, Marianna, Livy Kate, and Russell-Kate! All four were such a joy to have either on my bench or at the music stand this year! Rylen is racing through Level 1 in piano and proving to excell in technique and artistry! Marianna has Level 1 under wraps and is soaring through Level 2A like a pro! Livy Kate never ceases to amaze me and mastered Level 1 this semester! Russell-Kate shined in her first semester of voice and charmed her audience just like she does in her lessons! Girls, keep playing and singing for Jesus! I know I will see some of you this summer, but keep working hard at your craft and shining like the stars you are! Thank you parents and extended families for supporting these girls so well. It was such a pleasure to host each of you in my home. You are always welcome to cheer them on during the semesters from the listening chairs. May the Lord be honored and glorified through these four beautiful young ladies!

🎉Congratulations to our Libbi Sanchez!🎉 She is a recipient of the Wallace State Fine Arts and Performance Scholarship and will be performing with the 2023-2024 Wallace State Singers Show Choir! Libbi, I pray you shine like the star you are! May the Lord do exceeding abundantly above all you ask or think! I still need a picture of you rehearsing with a spatula. 💛

Masterpieces Studio - Moody hosted our first guitar clinic this week with the awesome Miss Jessica Mayfield! I loved hearing the music and fun this week in the studio. We are so excited to announce plans for a weekly guitar class starting next semester on Tuesdays! 🎄Christmas Spotlights are mini recital experiences that were born out of the pandemic and blossomed into one of the best events I've ever enjoyed as a teacher.💛 Families and friends come and celebrate their individual student's accomplishments and cheer them on in their musical endeavors.🎵 It boosts confidence and still gives students an outlet to shine and share their gifts. My heart is full!💛 Thank you to all the students and families who made this weekend a HUGE success!🎉 Looking forward to spring semester and continuing to help inspire music in your homes!🎵 Keep playing, singing, and drumming for Jesus! Hoping you all have a very merry Christmas! 🎄
