"Where's the kaboom? There was supposed to be an Earth-shattering kaboom!" 💥
My sister doesn’t have Facebook, so posting this shouldn’t ruin the surprise.
I hope she loves him. ❤️
😍 I’m very proud of this one.
Happy Mother’s Day mama! ♥️
Recently I worked on a custom order that took me about two weeks to complete… and then I got ghosted by the person who put in the order.
To keep the wait time short, and the workload from becoming overwhelming; I only take so many custom orders at a time before closing the books and chipping away at my list.
So how unfair is it that I could have taken on and finished 2-3 other projects for people who who actually appreciate my work, in the time I put into this project? I never expected someone who after asking me for so many updates… would disappear as soon as the project was finished.
Lesson learned I suppose..
All this to say that from this point forward, any custom orders will require a 50% deposit to ensure not only your interest, but that my time is valued as well.
Sorry if this sucks, but thanks for understanding. 😕

Getting some patterns written during this gloomy weather.
As much as I dread this part of custom crochet, it is the most difficult and under appreciated part of the process.

Saw this pattern and just had to make it 😂♥️
Yip yip yip!

Hey guys! I just wanted to make a post to tell everyone a little about crochet and the things that I create here.
Crochet is a fiber art that uses a single tool to create loops, that then create a fabric. Then it’s up to me to manipulate the loops to create a design that makes these items.
Unlike knitting, crochet cannot be made by machine and is made only by hand. This means that each creation takes not only a creative eye for detail, but hours and hours spent creating each and every stitch. (on average, each project takes me 15 to 25 hours)
Let this serve as a reminder that each project is planned, designed, and customized to your requests. This makes each creation a one of a kind, handmade, luxury item.
That being said, I will not negotiate the prices of things I create. Each project differs in price depending of the difficulty and time that needs to be put into it. I do my best to come up with a price that I think is fair for not only you, but fair to me, and the time I have to set aside to create these items.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and thanks for following my page and supporting me as I navigate this whole art for money thing.
(I’m not a business woman, just an artist trying to make a living)
