I love it when a goof up is turned around into something good. I had made an error on this vest and had to start from scratch but, happily, it fit within the needs of one of the training/placement companies that I occasionally sew for. Here's Facility Dog Daisy in her new vest.

Happy Monday and Happy July 1!!

Another productive week! 3 more orders sewn and shipped, and a 2 vest order started! I counted back and, in the 6 months/26 weeks of this year, I've sewn and shipped 20 vests -- 6 of which were in this last two weeks! Under "normal" circumstances, I'd be getting out 3-5 per week! Right now I'm just SO THANKFUL that the pain I've been in since before Christmas seems to finally be under control and that I've been able to work at a more reasonable pace without hurting!

DAD Birdie will be pretty in pink in her new Basic style vest. If you happen to notice the handle is missing, it's because Birdie's handler requested it to be omitted. Ms Birdie is a Lab Retriever.
{BTW .. this vest is hot pink with silver trim, NOT coral with pewter trim!! ((SIGH!!)) My camera just plain does NOT like certain colors :-( }

This week was the most productive week I've had in a looooong time!! I'm trying a new natural supplement and my pain has been greatly reduced. With that, I got a few vests done this week The first vest is for DAD Missy and it's the Deluxe 2 pocket vest. The next two vests are the Basic vest style with the Patriotic upgrade. SD Rascal and SD Barrow are getting those. Missy is a Lab Retriever, Rascal is an Australian Shepherd Mix and Barrow is a Greyhound.
