This weekend was busy and I'm very grateful for these moments and people just trusting me with this class.
Two classes were back to back. One was scheduled for Saturday and private class on Sunday.
We had a lot of fun knitting and socializing. With private classes it's even more fun because it's all your friends or people you know :) so you get a chance to catch up with everyone while learning new skill!

I'm planning on hosting my FINAL 2 public classes in a month or so BUT I will be open for booking private classes. If you have been wanting to take my class please keep an eye on my page. I will post new days/time soon

I'm back with good news. I will be hosting my first blanket workshop of 2024 at 10X Energy & Nutrition January 20th (Sat.) from 1:00-3:00 PM. I'm really not sure when next class is going to be so this is it 😁

As always, class is $85 per person and everything is included into price. Yarn (colors of your choice), my instructions, and light snacks from the owner of 10X Energy & Nutrition.

I've been teaching this class for 4 years and it is ALWAYS fun. We get to talk and be social while you learn new skill!

This was smaller class and I like it because it always feels more intimate. We get to know each other and share stories while you create your cozy piece of art 😁

This is such a great skill to learn for Christmas gifts! Once you learn how to knit these blankets you can knit more on your own 🧶

I opened October 21st for class. 1-4PM!

Sign up is simple. Send me message with the day that works best for you. After you sign up to class please mark that day in your calendar and make sure you can join my class. I am saving spot for you so please be considerate. Once class is full I don't take anyone else because I can only fit so much people.

I also understand that things happen and sometimes people can't make it. I do not require deposit. You pay the day of class.

Classes from last 2 weeks! This is my favorite part of having this knitting business. Chunky blanket classes are the best and everyone loves it. (Unless they are pretending) haha
You leave with an item that you just made and ready for use and you also learned new skill.

I'm hoping to start offering this class twice a month, Saturdays usually. If everything goes smooth next class will be April 15 and 29 (both Saturdays) from 12-3

Some new wreaths we've made over this past week.

But can I brag for a second on how cuttte these Bunny Butt Wreaths turned out 😆
It started as an experiment, just like almost anything else I have, using some wires, hot glue, cotton tube, and creativity!

Absolutely love it!

I hope you do too because I can make them in other colors as well such as teal, mustard, grey, caramel, navy, burgundy and mauve with any color of pom. I got tons of big fluffy POMS!

January such a dead month for small businesses.

Kind of interesting that most of businesses slow down in January, February, and March. I wonder if that's because consumers are spending this time hunkered down and in saving mode until Spring. Pretty sure the answer is "Yes" and I'm one of those consumers 😆

This slow time can be valuable for small businesses. Now’s your chance to do what you normally don’t have time to do: instead of working in your business, you can work on your business. Riiight?

▶️ Good time to restock with supplies, especially if you have to wait.

I'm officially back! This time I'm back for real 😆
I was going to just take 2 weeks off but somehow 2 weeks turned into a whole month I know, right?

I don't feel too bad about it because maybe I just needed that break. I worked hard last 4 months before all those holidays. So much work was put into Bear Hugg. So many events, pop ups, orders, and just everything!

I'm ready to rock and roll this year and I have few things planned.

➕ Add few more new products!
➕ Create DIY video tutorials!
➕ Put up all my yarn for sale!
➕ Add more colors to chenille yarn

That's it and that's a lot, especially when you run small business on your own but I got this! Please tell me I got this 😆 I need more encouragement so I can push myself to be the best version of Bear Hugg.

I guess this is my best at getting as close as I can to it's true color. I took like 50 pics!

It's such vibrant and deep blue color in person but on pictures it's just kinda meh...lol

Now let me remind you friends. These blankets are heavy! I don't advertise them as weighted blankets but fact is they are heavy. All my cotton tube blankets are 7 lbs. If you need it heavier and bigger just reach out to me and I'll do my best to get one done for you :)

They are also washable and pretty durable!

These cotton tube blankets are not sold in stores. They are only available through small business like my business who specializes in these chunky knit blankets. You also have Etsy to play around but it will cost you arm and a leg to get one 😆

All right, I'm off to finish packing this order in hopes it gets to it's new owner by Christmas :)

Two events to attend as vendor. I will be a vendor hosting market with in their courtyard doing SoDA Christmas Saturday 10 to 4.

Husband will be over at doing Saturday pop up market 10 to 3. I somehow convinced him 😂

Ship out website orders. Finally fixed my printer to print labels so all orders will be shipped today! Yay !

What about Friday? Ok good news! I'm thinking about running a special blanket deal for Black Friday. One day only! I will have this One Day Blanket deal running through IG stories. So stay tuned.

All right I'm off back to my delicious blankets. 25 delicious blankets haha.
