We are a small home kennel with a love for the English type Labrador breed. I also provide basic dog training, dog sitting & house sitting services.

In past years, I've been puppy raising for Guide Dogs of America, Guide Dogs for the Blind & currently volunteer with Genesis Service Dogs. References are available upon request. Contact me for details & prices.

HAD TO SHARE THIS ONE: 😁
Three male Labrador Retrievers — one Chocolate, one yellow and one black were sitting In the waiting room at the vet’s when they struck up a conversation.
The black Lab turned to the chocolate Lab and said, “So why are you here?”
The brown Lab replied, “I’m a pi**er. I p**s on everything….the sofa, the curtains, the cat, the kids. But the final straw was last night when I p**sed in the middle of my owner’s bed.”
The black Lab said, “So what is the vet going to do?” “Gonna cut my nuts off,” came the reply from the chocolate Lab. “They reckon it’ll calm me down.”
The black Lab then turned to the yellow lab
And asked, “Why are you here?”
The yellow Lab said, “I’m a digger. I dig under fences, dig up flowers and trees, I dig just for the hell of it. When I’m inside, I dig up the carpets. But I went over the line last night when I dug a great big hole in my
owner’s couch.”
“So what are they going to do to you?” the black Lab inquired.”Looks like I’m losing my nuts too”. The dejected yellow Lab said.
The yellow Lab then turned to the black Lab And asked, “Why are you here?”
“I’m a humper,” the black Lab said. “I’ll hump anything I’ll hump the cat, a pillow, the table, fence posts, whatever. I want to hump everything I see.” Yesterday, my owner had just got out of the shower and was bending down to dry her toes, I just couldn’t help myself. I hopped on her back and started hu***ng away.”
The yellow and chocolate Labs exchanged a sad glance and said, “So, nuts off for you too, huh?”
“No, I’m here to get my nails clipped.”

General announcement for Genesis Service Dogs, Inc.

We would like to congratulate our newest Service Dog Teams, Jasper and Sherie, and Bragg and Laryssa! 🐾💙

A quick update on what’s going on behind the scenes for Genesis Service Dogs...

We are not closing our doors, but rather downsizing to a more manageable endeavor. If you are local, you may see our pups and puppy raisers around exploring, socializing and educating.
If we have puppy raisers available for training, we may accept donations of select puppies and funding to keep moving forward and will be training on a limited basis.

Our plan is to also continue local training meetings or outings at least once per month, and as teams and leaders are available.
If you have a current application on file, we will do our best to complete the training of a service dog that you have been waiting for.

Also while our space is limited, we will still provide private owner training for those who desire to train their own service dog, whether for their child or themselves. This training is offered for an hourly training fee, and individuals may contact Danielle Stem at [email protected] for further information.
