Good Evening All! TFL needs your help. We are looking for a location to hold a fundraiser. Please reach out to us if you know someone who is a member of a community organization that might have access to a hall. We're thinking about something like an Elk's Club or Knight of Columbus type of organization. Please reach out to Wendy, Andrea or Joyce if you think you might have a connection to any such organization.

Our Story

Tennis for Life is an active support group for Breast Cancer Survivors, offering free indoor tennis and instruction. All levels of players, especially beginners, are welcome to join at any time. Tennis for Life is offered in cooperation with the Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center. Our non-profit organization offers tennis lessons, organized tennis matches, peer networking groups and professionally-facilitated discussion groups to unite and assist breast cancer survivors in their recovery.

In 1998, Marcia Devens, an avid Tennis Player and a 13-year breast cancer survivor, founded Tennis for Life to introduce tennis to others with her circumstances who would not typically consider tennis as an option to aid in both the physical and psychological recovery process. Tennis for Life is committed to support and enhance the lives of Breast Cancer Survivors.
