At Macon campus, second-year Associate culinary students recently showcased their skills in the Capstone course. They prepared delicious roast pork tenderloin dishes served with crispy fried fingerling hassleback potatoes, fried Brussels sprouts, garlic aioli, Brussels cups, and a flavorful pan sauce. This course is their final step before starting their externship placements.

Helms College culinary students in Macon have finished their International Cuisine course for the second quarter. They crafted dishes from 22 countries in just 14 days. This course emphasized universal techniques over rote recipe memorization, equipping students with foundational skills for their careers.

Latricia Youmans, a graduate of Helms College's Hemodialysis Technician Diploma program, recently became certified as a Clinical Hemodialysis Technician by the NNCC. She's not only the first from Helms College to achieve this, but she also graduated with top honors in January.
