Tuesday our team had the opportunity to represent us at the Vetlanta Q4 Summit in Atlanta. Sam and Ron had a great time telling people about our foundation, and making new connections as well.

Good Monday morning to everyone! We would like to thank everyone who came out to our Christmas Potluck Saturday. It was a lot of fun, there was a ton of food, and we enjoyed the game as well.

Today, we would like to take a moment to congratulate one of our veterans, Joe Davila, on his retirement from the VA and government service after 37 years total. We are very proud of Joe, and happy to call him one of our own!

The PTSD FOA-Georgia played a pivotal role in hosting J's Place Recovery Center's Annual Friendsgiving meal. Kudos to our General Manager, Dan Solla, for the delightful mashed potatoes and Lead Coordinator, Jason Smith, for whipping up 8 lbs of mouthwatering mac and cheese! It was a joy to see many of our warriors and their families gathering together at this wonderful recovery event. Here's to recovery, resilience, and the power of community!

Tonight's in-person meeting at J's Place is cancelled for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We will reconvene next week at the usual time and place.

Our mission is to reach as many veterans as possible to help heal the invisible wounds of war. Incase you hadn't heard yet, we are looking for 5-10 veterans to participate in this equine therapy event on January 10, 2024. We have already had a few RSVP, so if you are interested, reach out to Jason Smith through the contact information on the flyer. This is a veteran's only event this time.
