This Friday! We hope to see you there! Thank you Art Space on Main for supporting our programs! We are so excited to see this event return
We are excited to announce that, after a three year hiatus, Art Space on Main will be hosting our Empty Bowls charity event!
Be sure to mark your calendars for Friday Oct 6th, 4:30-8pm!
How does it work? Over the year, our talented studio members donate their time and energy into throwing, trimming, and glazing more than 500 bowls that we display for purchase on the first Friday of October. These hand-crafted and one-of-a-kind bowls range from $15.00-$40.00 and the proceeds are then donated to The Wayfayer House, a women and children's shelter right here in Elkton, MD. To help support our event, local restaurants donate soup and this year we thank Pat's Select Pizza Grill, Olive Garden, Woody's Crab House, Chesapeake Inn, East Main Cafe, and Wesley's Restaurant for their generosity.
Come join us on Friday Oct. 6th from 4:30-8pm. Buy a bowl, get some soup, and support your local community.
For more information on The Wayfayer House please visit: https://meetingground.org/transitional-housing-for-women-and-children/
