This beautiful (it’s coming I promise) mountain inspired home will be a showstopper! As a designer we are required to switch our mindsets and be fluid between jobs. I think it increases the opportunity for a unique design when a designer is not stuck repeating the same style over and over. Get outside the box and dream big design ideas!

A lot of work this morning from paint colors to ceiling trim details, wall trim details, fireplace surround, and stairway details! This house is packed full of all embellishments!
Ceiling details in this new construction are going to be epic…along with the staircase, wall trim details, flooring(you get the picture) I love seeing these details come together little by little!
DIY shower being removed! What a disaster this contraption was. When you do any project yourself it should perform the same as that of professional install. Do not cut corners!!! Skipped steps = leaky showers!!! I’m excited for my clients to have a beautiful and functional shower again! (PS this was not their DIY it was previous homeowners which makes it more frustrating)
My clients beautiful home just hit the market! For those looking for the charm of a 100 year old home but with modern amenities this is the right fit! This home is even better in person!

Transformation (noun)
“a thorough or dramatic change in form or appearance”
Swipe to see these beautiful transformations on this very chilly Tuesday!
These kitchens transformed into beautiful, functional, and welcoming spaces. One of many things they have in common is Stained Trim. We have this notion that stained trim should always be covered with white paint and in some cases it’s beneficial. The trim in both these homes compliments the interior so well we made them a major part of the aesthetic instead of the problem.
This Beautiful bathroom is a place that would be hard to leave. I like to make my clients homes a place they don’t want to leave(unless a beach is calling). What’s your favorite space in your home?
Curb appeal is essential when designing a home! How do you create it? By balancing elements that are focal and others that support it. This door is the main focus. The columns, porch soffit design, brick, stamped concrete, lights will all complete the look. Stay tuned! It’s gonna be a show stopper!
We wish you all the safest and happiest New Year! Dream big and keep working towards your goals in 2024!
It’s not everyday we get to dive into a personal project! We’ve been hunting for over a year for that special project to work on! We are so excited to have this opportunity to bring back the much needed life to this neglected home.
We are almost a month in and demo is about complete, ready to commence the rough-in phase for all HVAC, electrical and plumbing. Follow along as we make over the 70’s ranch!
We wish everyone the most merry of Christmas’s! We will be spending time with family and slowing down from the hustle of the season!
Christmas is in our lives for a short time but one of the things we always question when buying or building a home…
”Where will put the Christmas Tree!?”
We try to think of every detail when designing a home.
Electrical walkthroughs are fun 🤩 in these temps! What can you do to prepare for your electrical walkthrough?
*list out all your decorative light areas which include chandeliers, flush/semi flush mounts, pendants, sconces, art lights, bath vanity lights.
*list out under cabinet lighting or shelves you want lit
*list out how many cans you have been given in your budget and areas you’d like to use those most
*areas you’d like specialty receptacles like charging stations , TVs, computers etc
*switch locations
Overwhelmed yet? Building a home is daunting for some and we are here to assist to take the weight of some of those decisions off your plate. We work with through the entire process! Call us today if you’re needing a designer on your team to make building a home a dream not nightmare!
Barndominium life is extremely appealing! My clients wanted a place to dwell during the winter months in Indiana. The indoor pool, breathtaking fireplace, chef kitchen, roomy bar, two bedrooms, and loft Murphy bed accommodations for extra sleeping help fill the short days of winter with lots of fun especially in the holidays!
Drywall phase….
Let’s talk about progress and timelines! At drywall phase you are about at the half way point of a project. What trades after?
Painters to prime walls (we don’t need the dust) paint ceilings
Flooring - lay wood, LVP, laminate, showers and baths tiled
Trim carpenters - stairs, base molding, casing, crown!
Cabinetry- installed and then we get the countertop people in to template before everything’s covered for final paint!
Painters- again ; caulk, prime, spray trim and doors paint walls
Countertops - installed
Electricians install decorative lighting
Plumbers install shower trims; connect faucets sinks etc
Painters - because everyone makes mistakes and walls get dinged 😳 we need patching and touch ups!
There are so many talented and hardworking trades that come into play when building a home. I couldn’t do my job without them.
We are so excited about this project 2 years in the making and finally making progress! Rough-in is starting! Florida design just hits different...

Appreciation post!!! I have to say that one of the greatest gifts I’ve been given is friendship. This lady right here is one of my closet friends. Our memories go back to our high school days. We can make each other laugh without even a word spoken. We’ve been there for each other through many of life’s ups and downs. When I asked if she’d help me decorate a tree at the Embassy Festival of Trees(which isn’t to be taken lightly - so many talented designers decorating gorgeous trees)she didn’t hesitate to say YES! She’s always in my corner and I’m blessed to have her in my life. Thank you my beautiful friend!
