By the 2000s the band had been house regulars, drawing crowds at Wilma’s Flying Pig Sonora and Murphys Hotel, Eproson House Twain Harte, Arnold Hotel… the bands sound was described as an oncoming train locomotive with a dance beat. The three of us tore it up in those hills and eventually expanded to five pieces by the time we performed the July 4th 2k Concert at Mancini Bowl. Thanks to the originals, Danny Rogers, Pete DeMattos, Jimmy Hildreth as I will never forget the late Kari Lasee and Rudy Knight, all for starting down this zydeco road with me. Never looked back.
