Good morning, and happy Member Monday! Today we have sweet Lorri R to share a little bit about herself!🤩
1. How/When did your Orangetheory journey begin? I joined Orangetheory 2 years ago after doing boot camp type workouts for years and I love the switch!
2. Are you loyal to a particular day/time at OTF? I often joke that if I work out in the morning versus the afternoon I am like two different people. My favorite time is 4:30pm, but you will find me all over the place due to my job. As long as the music is great and I’m not held hostage on that rower for too long- I’m good at any time :)
3. What are some hobbies you enjoy doing outside of OTF? I love to spend time on the water, cooking, interior design and time with my family.
4. What is your profession? I work as a sales representative for Stryker, it is a Medical Device Company and I cover a variety of different surgeries in the hospitals in West Michigan.
5. What is something you are most proud of? My kids. I have a son that is 24 and is a graduate of Hope College. He started InLine Marine, a local boat lift and dock company after graduation servicing this area and I have twins who are 20 and are in college at Hope and Lipscomb in Nashville. They are fun and outgoing and make my husband and I proud that we didn’t screw them up too terribly bad. Ha!
6. If you could craft the perfect OTF workout (for YOU), what would it consist of? Well, walking right past that rower. I don’t know why I hate that thing so much. I think it's because I am short so I have to row twice as hard to go the distance as the long legged people around me-makes me look inept. But in all seriousness I love the well rounded workout at OT. Equal parts floor, treads and a smidge on the rower is perfect (along with some great 80’s raging music)
7. Favorite thing about OTF? Everything. I love that it's hard, that it's never the same. I love the staff and coaches and that no one here is judgy. It doesn’t matter your body type or your size, everyone is on a health journey to be the best version of themselves and we all ebb and flow on that ride. Every day is an opportunity to be better than you were the day before and you feel that here.

Happy Monday, OTF fam! Everyone meet Grace ⬇️🍊
1. How/When did your Orangetheory journey begin?
I started OTF in February! I was invited by Kathy Vogel to the Galentines event and quickly got hooked.
2. Are you loyal to a particular day/time at OTF?
I consider myself to be a part of the faithful 6AM crew - it’s the best time to come because my kids are still sleeping! (Sorry 5AM- I’m not on your level yet!)
3. What are some hobbies you enjoy doing outside of OTF?
I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, baking (especially sourdough stuff), and being outside!
4. What is your profession?
I work for a nonprofit ministry that invests in the lives of 11-19 year olds. I spend most of my time hanging with middle school kids from Northview and it’s awesome!
5. What is something you are most proud of?
Gosh this is a hard one! I’m a people pleaser and helper at heart. But lately I’m proud of saying no to things for the sake of giving more time to my family.
6. If you could craft the perfect OTF workout (for YOU), what would it consist of?
I don’t know how to plan a perfect one but- I really like 3G workouts. And I like the workouts that are sneaky about making you do a lot of distance because the speeds/intensity are always changing. And no push ups or burpees 🤪
7. Favorite thing about OTF?
The accountability to get to the gym and get my workout in! I also like the 6AM regulars that are so kind and welcoming!

1. How/When did your Orangetheory journey begin?
I joined OTF in February of this year when I decided I wanted to prioritize doing more full body workouts that also incorporated running. I have always loved group fitness classes, so I tried out a free class, joined, and have loved being a member ever since!
2. Are you loyal to a particular day/time at OTF?
I usually am at the 4:30pm or 5:45pm classes during the week… but sometimes opt for the later 7pm or 8pm classes as well. I love a good evening workout. On occasion I will also do the Tread 50 classes!
3. What are some hobbies you enjoy doing outside of OTF?
On my free time I enjoy traveling as much as I can, I love exploring new places and cultures. I also love to go thrifting, hiking, and getting dinner/drinks with my friends (I think this is a hobby)?
4. What is your profession?
I work as a Supply Chain Analyst
5. What is something you are most proud of?
Always pushing myself to try new things and appreciating the struggle in the journey! I have come a long way since I started coming to Orange Theory in February, and I am proud of myself for continuing to show up and dedicate myself to getting stronger and improving my endurance on the treadmill.
6. If you could craft the perfect OTF workout (for YOU), what would it consist of?
2G workout, endurance on the treadmill with no inclines (haha) but ending with some all out’s, and a mixed bag for strength on the floor incorporating abs, upper body, and lower body.
7. Favorite thing about OTF?
The flexibility of class times! I love being able to pick a class that works around my schedule. I also love the supportive and encouraging environment. I always feel pushed to do the best I can since everyone around me is doing the same!
