With two girls competing in five events before 1 pm, our resilience will shine bright. Afterward, it's time to rush over to WCC for Bout day 2 of the Bellingham Roller Betties season 16. A thrilling triple header awaits, featuring Subdued City Rollers vs. Vancouver, Tough Love vs. Hellgate, and my own Cog Blockers facing off against F.L.A.S.H. See ya there for a whole day of skating and a true range of talents! Message us for details on how you can get involved or for scheduling lessons! The best coaches a girl could ask for.....
I'll never stop having questions for you and I will always hear your voices in my head telling me to be creative, solve the problem, be kind and classy, and that life balance is THE MOST important. You taught me that to make people listen and respect me, I needed to dress and act important, and then I would be important. That life on and off the floor was a performance; never let the judges see me cry. Never accept defeat or failure; just keep trying.
That the cookie is always worth the risk, especially if it's a forbidden cookie. Those cookies were my first ever secret squirrel missions. I will always steal that cookie for you, Jerry. Even if I always get caught. Even if I can already picture Mar's face when she catches me red-handed.
I feel like I honor you every time one of my skaters hits a milestone in life or at the rink. I know you have a hand in everything I do for them. I want to be a great coach like you were. But you were both so much more than that. You were my role models, mentors, teachers, confidantes, and family. I strive to be that to each one of them.
I love you both always and forever....See ya again at the great rink on the other side.

Yet amidst the chaos, a strange harmony emerges – a blend of motivation and mischief that somehow convinces our newcomer to join our merry band of skating gremlins.
