Sorry for not being very active lately, but there is a great excuse. This past week I was away being an Assistant Certifier for CHA in an IRD ( Instructors of Riders with Disabilities) Cert in Missouri. It was an amazing experience getting to share all that I have learned and helping others obtain their IRD.

Rose and Chandalyn have schooled and are ready for jumpers tomorrow at !

Alicia (riding on Roy) had an amazing lesson today. Our focus was on the basics and feeling things out. Don't rush the learning process! When you rush, you can create the worst habits. Start simple and build from there!

Riding is all fun and games, but working from the ground also helps build a great foundation for horse and rider. There are so many useful methods, and they all have their place and time. I try to always listen to the horse to see what they need.

Sisco Sistas (Rose) is all ready for the first dressage show of the Season! Rose and Chandalyn will be competing in Greenville at the DDC show in Training Level.

From Thoroughbreds to Saddlebreds, we ride them all! This handsome Saddlebred is The Sly Instigator "Gator" owned by Brent and Betsy Cowan. Gator is new to the Mahogany training program and he is a really fun smooth ride. We look forward to seeing him progress with us.
