Did you know you can make dynamic QR codes with your pro Canva account? Click on Apps --> Trending --> Dynamic QR Codes (add color/ shapes) or QR Code (plain black square). Enter your URL, any color changes you want to make to the design, then add to your design. If you're just creating the QR code on its own, choose an Instagram post (square) and you can download that and share it with any desktop publishing services you may be using, or you can add it to a design that you're working on in Canva. Quick and easy and everyone loves QR Codes!

How do I claim my page?

Do you have an abandoned version of your business page floating around in the FB-sphere that you can't access? Is there a page out there pretending to be your business page?

Start here: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/1758255661104383

As we all know, FB is notoriously hard to get hold of, there's no 1-800 number to dial them up and ask a question. The forms they used are out there, but kind of hard to access directly. (I assume they want you to read an article to define what it is you really need, and that's fair.) I had to stumble around to find this one, so I'm just going to park it right here.

I've been getting this message on several of my managed business pages. I'm fairly certain it's a scam. For a few reasons:

🧩 They are tagging business pages to get their attention. Facebook can contact you directly if they have an issue with your content. They don't need to create a blanket post and tag your business.
🧩 That link- don't click on it! Maybe they'll ask for information about you- bank account, credit card info- I didn't click on it and neither should you.
🧩 The language is just too vague. We all know someone who has been thrown in "Facebook jail" and has been given very specific reasons. The "sharing content that misleads others" that is mentioned in the post is pretty much what's happening here.

Here's what you should do if you find yourself tagged in this mess:

✔ Tap the three little dots in the upper corner of the post and select "Remove tag". This is probably optional if you proceed to the next step
✔ Tap on those three little dots again and select the Report option. Tell Facebook whatever you feel is happening- spam, fraud, they give you a few options.
✔ Block the page. After you report the page, you'll be given the option to block them. Block Block block! Lol don't give them the option of tagging you again- at least not with this profile. I'm sure more fraudulent profiles will pop up. This seems pretty new, I'm not sure what their endgame is. (Money) In my opinion, you don't want your profile associated with this spam attempt in any way. The highly suggestible nature of Facebook almost guarantees that if your friends/clients/ prospects see that you were tagged by this page (and they will), a seed of doubt will be planted. Nip it in the bud - (see what I did there? 😉) and stay on top of this until hopefully this tactic is squashed. 🎃

Stay safe out there!

I would read the all of these from Ron's perspective.
