For the month of December I’m going to post one picture each day from my Awkward Photo Shoot by Lynzi Scholz. She’s a wonderful person and a great photographer. I highly recommend you doing this next year as something fun and different than your typical holiday photos.

Today is the Joliet Slammers Holiday Open House from 9-noon in the Hall of Fame Room at Duly Health and Care Field in downtown Joliet. I hope to see many of you there. So in honor of that here is another photo from the Awkward Photo Shoot.

There is a rumor because Comed was doing work that we will not be doing the Marine Corps Birthday.
FALSE. We are open and we are having the celebration. Come in any time. Most people will roll in about 5. There will be a very short presentation at 7 which includes cake. Mmmm cake.

Well you guys asked…… and we intend to bring it in 2024!

We will have extended days and hours for the gallery to be open! Still figuring out what that might look like…… but we will figure it out!

We have 5 solo shows planned, pop up shops, group shows, and we might even attempt organ donations! (Joking! No organ donations will happen at the gallery)

This week's lunch special. Greek chicken or shrimp pita with kalamata olives, tomato, onion and Feta cheese. Bruschetta chicken or shrimp pita with parmesan, fresh basil, vine tomato and balsamic drizzle. Both served with pasta salad or soup.
