McHenry County Toys for Tots is still in need of more toys to help fulfill children's Christmas dreams, if you can help please drop them off at our office 330 West Virginia Street Crystal Lake prior to December 8th .

These are the current donation amounts and age group breakdown for much needed toys.

If you are donating to a Toys For Tots box, we desperately need 10-12, then 0-2. They are almost full of 3-9 for both genders. No stuffed animals or clothing type items please. Here's where they are as of now with the percentage of toys being donated...

The Independence Day Parade and Fireworks are now less than two weeks away. The Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce will be hosting parade at 1 p.m., staring at 100 W. Woodstock.

The fireworks will occur in the evening at Crystal Lake Main Beach, 300 Lakeshore Drive.

May is Military Appreciation Month and we'll be collecting items for Operation Dropbox! Operation Dropbox will benefit Veterans Path to Hope, an organization that helps military veterans overcome challenges they may face in their daily lives. Help us fill the box, it's an honor to help!
