Higher Ground

Higher Ground offers a wide variety of rainwater management and home maintenance services, including gutter cleaning, gutter guard installations, buried drainage systems, erosion control, pressure washing, and gutter repair and replacement.
As a Home Services Technician, you will be working as part of a two-man crew that will use safety gear and harnesses to access roofs to clean gutters. You will occasionally utilize ladders up to 40 feet tall, so you MUST be comfortable with heights. Hours will range from part-time to full-time, depending on business needs, and this work will be weather-dependent.

Starting pay is at $13.50 minimum with a review 90 days after hire. Raises are given based off attitude, development, and work ethic.
Experience is always welcome, but not required. Our technicians are trained to use the most up-to-date techniques to ensure their safety while operating on a client’s property.

While direct gutter experience is not necessary, we welcome applicants to apply with any landscaping, plumbing, carpentry, or general maintenance experience.

Requirements and Skills

Comfortable with Heights – MUST be comfortable working from heights on ladders or on roofs with safety harnesses and rope equipment. (Will undergo paid training)
Driver’s License – This position may require driving company vehicles, so a license and clean driving record is preferred
Additional Experience - landscaping, plumbing, carpentry, or general maintenance experience would be a plus.
