Still looking for a home. Tootsie comes with a terrific doggie-starter "kit." She has her own toys, flea meds, toothbrush and paste, etc. She is house/crate trained - has been asking to go outside regularly for about 3 weeks. Her puppy nonsense is past her but her whole life is ahead of her at 1yr old. This dog is microchipped, spayed (never bred) and utd on all vaccines. Tootsie is friendly and affectionate. She is also familiar with an E-collar if necessary. She get on ok with most of my dogs but I have two that are major drama queens and spats happen frequently. She stands up for herself and no blood is ever spilled - mostly just noise and posturing. Tootsie needs a home of her own.

Hey, ya'll...Tootsie is still looking for her furever family. She is being very consistent in asking to go outside. This dog is sweet as pie and comes with quite the package. Seriously, it will be hard to find another with everything she has. She is all set to go and comes with so many extras you won't get anywhere else.

Tootsie is very vocal about going outside. If she isn't napping in her crate, she is prone to ask every 30-40 minutes until she takes her nap in the crate.
She eats all her meals in her crate and drinks out of a bunny bottle (has done this since a pup).
She is familiar with an E-collar and does very well with it. I rarely need to use it.
She walks well on a leash and seems to love to go for car rides - jumps right in soon as the door opens.
She is very loving and affectionate - love to give kisses and adores attention.

Still looking for a home...
Tootsie had a bath and I tidied up her floof. I took her out to dry just as my daughter arrived home from work. Tootsie took off and jumped in the car with her as soon as the door opened. Apparently she likes car rides...

This is all of Tootsie's stuff....her toys, her flea drops, wipes, chews, toothbrush and paste. I had to switch her food to what I am feeding my dogs bc she has been here longer than I expected. I will send some food with her to help transition to whatever her new family chooses. I have kept her stuff away from my other dogs bc they ruin everything.
*She is microchipped. In case she is ever lost and found, the finder will be able to track you down. The transfer papers are with her vet documents.
*Tootsie is spayed. You won't have the cost of ensuring she doesn't have puppies.
*She is 1 year old. All the puppy shenanigans are behind her (from what I can see). You won't have to chase her through the house to grab miscellaneous stuff out of her mouth.
*Her house training gets better every day. She hasn't messed in the crate since she first came. I don't fuss about it bc that is what the crate is for - to contain the mess.
*Playtimes are longer with her asking to go out after 30 minutes of play. If she doesn't potty, she gets food and a nap in the crate. If she does go potty outside when she asks, she gets more playtime. If I can't watch her, I crate her. She may not need it but it gives me peace of mind.
Tootsie is a lovely dog that needs a good home. She was taken care of very well. Her family was gearing up for another battle with cancer and were simply overwhelmed with it all.

She has asking to go outside downpat. Tootsie usually asks after 30 min or playtime. Sometimes I give more playtime afterwards if everyone did their business, if they don't, they get food, treats and a nap in the crate.

Hey, ya'll...Tootsie is asking to go outside! She was begging bf I started the video then the goofy poodles took over. This is what I mean by "teach your dog to tell you it needs to go outside." She is doing this after ONE WEEK!! Incredibly smart dog. I have never met an easier dog. We are very close to napping outside the crates and I can hardly believe it. This lovely dog needs a family and she is a gem. I have been consistent and she has responded very well.

Still doing great! She has been asking to go outside. I don't let her sit on my chair with me so she will put her paws on my leg. I ask if she wants to go out, she will jump around a little and we go. Simple as that. If I can't watch her or need a break, she goes in her crate with food and water + a treat...no fuss. She is probably the easiest adult dog I have ever taken in.

Tug of war can last a long time.
Tootsie has been a great pup. She still needs a family that will love her. I have started to teach her to jump on my chest when she wants to go outside if I am sitting. She loves to give kisses.

Evening cuddle...such a sweet dog. I have been teaching her to stick her face up my nose to ask to go outside bc she does that naturally. Almost 2 weeks with me and she's been good.

Playing with the pups. She has given me no trouble. She doesn't tear up her crate, not upset with the potty schedule, gets along with the others well, loves ppl. Playtime after potty continues to stretch - no accidents in the house or crate since her first night.

Just chilling in the shade while I do a little yard work. She is a lovely dog. So far I have had no issues with her. She is affectionate and obedient, gets along with the other dogs well. She is up to 30 minutes of playtime in the house. Today more will be added. If she sheds, you have to pull it out. She probably wouldn't shed at all if I trim her butt fluff. I am trying to find a good home for her bc I didn't want her to end up in a shelter.
