Had an absolute stellar of an evening hosting a super fun group to an amazing winemaker dinner put on by . A big thank you goes out to Chef Andy and the entire kitchen staff for putting on the truly delicious spread, Kim for getting everyone together, and Dorian for believing in our wines and keeping the conversation from getting too distracted with pH numbers and soil profiles. That’s a wrap for Harvest 2023! Everything has made it in the building and is finishing up with fermenting. Couldn’t be happier with the vintage and can’t wait to share these wine with you soon.

A very special thank you to Chef Nori for the traditional Kaiseki meal and to Aina, Rich, and everyone at for the amazing experience. It was a welcome break from harvest to get away for an eight course dinner and I finally got to try freshly prepared real wasabi!!. Check them out in Redmond for a wonderful dining adventure

New wine for Entiat is in barrel and will be out after some extended time in oak. Keep an eye out for Lake Chelan Cabernet Franc down the road from us!!!

A special thanks to everyone that helped pick the Sauvignon blanc from Open Gates this weekend. It was not an easy task to get the job done and required a huge effort to get it all loaded up. Feeling just a bit sore this morning 🥱

Last week we finally got harvest off the ground and pressed some beautiful Sauvignon blanc for the Cordilleran and Pinot Noir for rosé. The fruit this year is tasting great and is definitely worth the wait. Both wines are actively fermenting slow and cool and looking amazing. Super excited for the rest of the fruit to come in the door. Cheers to harvest number 19 🥂

Introducing Spectre Bloc

A blend of native yeast fermented Syrah 78% and carbonic macerated Pinot Noir 22% all coming from the Lake Chelan AVA.

So what the heck is Spectre Bloc? We’re glad you asked. Entiat Wines is a brand built off of utilizing grapes from areas in Northern Washington not yet well understood to Washington wine drinkers let alone the rest of the country. These rare parcels are to us like ghosts that need to have their story told.

Pinot Noir and Chardonnay both from Lake Chelan are available now. Making Burgundian varietals from Northern Washington has been a challenge that took a lot of careful planning and finesse to not make the wines not overly structured, boozy, or too ripe. Couldn’t be happier with the end product and we hope it turns a few heads and raises some eyebrows on the potential of the region. Santé

The “mechanical” hedger and leaf stripper AKA The Machete absolutely killed it this week! 🤺The vineyard looks amazingly beautiful after the hedging!!!More photos to come. This harvest is going to be bountiful yet oh so concentrated. Can’t wait to turn these grapes into wine
