Hello everyone!
We apologize for the short hiatus here, but our Board of Directors has been working tirelessly with important decisions related to the platform for our fall conference. With uncertainty related to COVID (and numbers on the rise again!) we have made the decision to host our conference virtually. While we are sad to not get to see all of you in person, we believe this will allow our registration fees to be drastically reduced and help keep everyone safe and healthy. In addition, those who may be in isolation or quarantine can safely attend from the comfort of their own home. We will send out registration information asap!
Join me on Tuesday from 11:30-12:30 as part of this wonderful and FREE virtual conference to learn about the linguistic differences between the language of curricular text (General American English) and the most frequently spoken languages/dialectal variations spoken by SC students! When we know the differences, we can teach them. When students learn them, reading outcomes improve!
Join the South Carolina Department of Education Title III Multilingual Learner and Immigrant Children and Youth Program team for a free, three-day virtual professional learning opportunity!
