🌾 Yesterday, Kehillah gathered in the Sukkah to celebrate Sukkot 🍋 Students and faculty sang, crafted decorations for the Sukkah, and shared a meal together 🎶🍕 Today, we celebrated Simchat Torah with joyous singing and dancing with the Torah scrolls. As we head into the break, we wish everyone a meaningful Simchat Torah! 🌿📜
Kehillah will be closed for the rest of the week in observance of Simchat Torah, and school will resume on Monday, October 28. To all who celebrate, Chag Sameach! See you later, Rams! ✨🐏
At Kehillah, as we prepare to celebrate the traditions of Sukkot, we are grateful for the opportunity to embrace the value of hachnasat orchim—opening our hearts and spaces to all. This photo from last year reminds us of the joy and togetherness we experience during this sacred time. Just as Jewish communities through the ages have relied on the support of others, we are committed to creating an inclusive community where everyone feels seen, valued, and welcome. As we gather during this meaningful time, we reaffirm the strength that comes from connection, empathy, and togetherness.
Our Multicultural Club is dedicated to celebrating and supporting the diverse cultures within our school. Through events like their recent fundraiser, we continue to foster understanding and unity, reflecting the values of inclusion and respect. Today, Kehillah is observing Indigenous Peoples’ Day, acknowledging that we sit on the lands of the Tamien Nation, Ramaytush, Muwekma, and Ohlone. We honor their history, resilience, and continued contributions.

Reflecting, fasting, and coming together ✨ Today, our students and faculty observed Yom Kippur at KabShab through heartfelt reflection, prayer, and a sense of community. G’mar Chatimah Tovah — may you be sealed in the Book of Life. Wishing everyone a meaningful fast and a year of renewal! ✨🐏
📚 Congrats to our students who completed the PSAT and SAT on Tuesday! 🎉💻 Your hard work and determination are inspiring, and this is just one step closer to achieving your goals. We're proud of all your efforts! 🎉🙌
Today, we are honoring the lives tragically impacted by the attack of October 7. During our assembly today, Kehillah students and faculty reflected on the stories of those who have been directly affected and held space for collective learning, listening, and reflection. Let this day remind us not only of loss in Israel but of the strength that comes from a renewed commitment to peace, compassion, and humanity 🎗💛💙
Shanah Tovah! 🍯🍎 As we welcome a new year, may it be filled with blessings, reflection, and renewal. Wishing our Kehillah community a sweet and meaningful Rosh Hashanah! 🌟

Our community is especially honored to recognize retiring board member Larry Schlenoff for his longstanding dedication to Kehillah. Thank you to all who made this night special as we frame our vision for the future!
