Our Story
Almost 37 years ago a good friend, Walt Graf gave John a huge bee hive as a gift. He showed John how to work with the bees, and John fell in love with bees.
Now many years later, John’s the beekeeper and as he works with the bees, I (Dee) assist him with the hives and market the honey. Our bees gather summer nectar in the high, clean air of the Rockies and produce the most amazing, pure, sweet honey.
Our main occupation is with a nonprofit, Indigenous Ministries, and we travel internationally helping people who live in difficult circumstances, especially refugees in Iraq.
Keeping bees has also opened doors for John to train pastors and others in the craft of beekeeping to make a living overseas, especially in the Middle East. Bees help balance our lives, hearts and minds and we’re delighted to share our honey with you!
