There's one specific question we've asked our database over the years, "are you planning on selling your home this year?".

By identifying if they're a seller, you can then move forward to asking different questions that will determine whether or not you'll represent them as their agent, as well as what their hopes and even concerns are about the selling process.

What you need to make sure of now is that there's proper and efficient communication. In the past emailing has done the job, however, I recommend moving away from emails and texts and switching to phone calls to create a more personal situation.

Why is it important to add calling expired listings to your daily schedule? Learning to handle the objections, opening the door to getting more appointments, listing properties, and eventually closing sales.
