Plan to run your heat pump tonight? Do it before the sun goes down so it actually has heat to grab from the outside air. Let it maintain 72 or 74 and then turn it to your normal O.T. the units will go into defrost more when its cold. It shuts the fan off for around 90 seconds and then it thaws and goes whoosh again to reverse the (reversing valve) back to heat mode.

Can tell if there is low freon way before a tech even gets close to their home, and permits pulled on all installs.
