Mobility Plus of Middle Tennessee is operated by Joe Durst. For over 30 years, Joe has helped people improve their mobility and quality of life. With a doctorate in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, he began his career as a practitioner. At Physiotherapy Associates, he provided hands-on rehabilitation support, as well as managing the outpatient clinic. He then went on to become an Executive Director at Healthways, where he managed a team that delivered physical therapy, occupational therapy, fitness and worksite evaluations to large corporations.

Joe has always had a deep-seated passion for serving individuals of all ages with mobility challenges, especially seniors. Throughout his career, Joe has had the privilege of serving Veterans and seniors. He continues to do so with his current venture, Mobility Plus of Middle Tennessee.

Mobility Plus provides support to these individuals, and any other individuals facing mobility challenges. Whether it is helping a senior age in their home comfortably and have pride in their independence, or helping an athlete return to their sport, Mobility Plus provides the individualized support that is needed. Mobility Plus offers a wide range of mobility products, including power scooters, knee scooters, stair lifts, ramps, vehicle lifts, and much more.

Joe resides in Nashville with his wife, Mary. He has three daughters and five grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys reading, woodworking, sports, listening to music, and spending time with his family. Joe would love to help you and your family find the perfect fit!
