Well friends, it's with a lot of bittersweet feelings that we make our final post for Casey's Cookies! Today is our last day making cookies for you all, and we hope to see your faces for the last time (at least with cookies involved!) today at the Port Orchard Farmer's Market as we say goodbye to our fellow market vendors and all our lovely customers.

Casey's Cookies will be ending September 5th. Our Saturday side-gig-for-fun has grown into a small business producing 50,000 cookies per year - far beyond what we imagined when we set up at our first Port Orchard Farmers Market in 2019. For that, we thank YOU.

Nathan and I have been going back and forth on this several months. Rising food costs, work/life balance, and some other projects we want to pursue have pushed us toward this decision. We are a little sad, but excited for what comes next. We have had so much fun running this business and the relationships we formed with you remain dear to us.

🔔❗️ANNOUNCEMENT: Our free delivery operations are officially discontinued. The delivery option is no longer available at checkout on our store, so you have the option of either having your cookies shipped to you, or picking up in person at one of our popup locations (recommended for freshest flavor!)

As much as we love zooming around Kitsap in the cookie van, it's unfortunately no longer a reasonable time commitment for us to make. Such is the life of running a side gig along with working full time, earning degrees, etc.; what was once feasible can unfortunately no longer be squeezed in, so for the sake of our sanity we decided to limit options to shipping or pickup.

We want to ensure the quality of our cookies and the happiness of our customers, and iconic cookies are (almost) never made in a rush. By discontinuing delivery, we can dedicate more time to ensuring you guys still get the best homemade cookies in Kitsap 🍪 ⭐️
