My Passion Project #NoStigma
In Memory of my husband of 32 years and mother-in-law who both struggled immensely with clinical depression and anxiety. They both lost their battles with mental illness. My husband was 53 and his mother was 63 when they passed. Also remembering my brother who was a U.S. Marine in the Vietnam War in 1968. He suffered with PTSD his entire life after his tour of duty. He was never the same. He self-medicated with beer. He died of cancer caused by Agent Orange exposure at the age of 52. May they all REST IN PEACE.
I also know several people who have endured psychologically abusive relationships and the emotional trauma they experienced left them with a whole host of physical illnesses. Many of the illnesses they have acquired are directly related to the gut microbiome. I love coaching them back to optimum mental and physical wellness through the exceptional Amare products and programs. The results have been life-changing for them. It is my passion to de-stigmatize mental illness in today’s world. Thankfully, MENTAL WELLNESS is becoming the national conversation. Mental illness is much misunderstood and those who suffer are afraid or embarrassed to come forward. The mission of Amare Global and the mental wellness movement aligns perfectly with my life. It is a passion project for me.
