We're thrilled to announce that the Alden Foundation has officially broken ground on Addison Horizon, our new affordable Independent Senior Living Community!

We celebrated this momentous occasion with a fantastic groundbreaking ceremony! We extend our heartfelt thanks to our community partners, as well as our local and state legislators: Senate President Don Harmon, State Representative Norma Hernandez , and Mayor Rich Veenstra. Your support truly made this event special!

Congratulations to the Alden Foundation on this milestone. We're looking forward to welcoming Addison Horizon in Fall 2025!

Our dedicated Risk Management team, Jesse and Richelle recently attended the American Society for Health Care Risk Management - ASHRM conference in San Diego. From innovative sessions to exciting exhibits, the event provided valuable insights into the latest trends and best practices in risk management within healthcare.

Jesse and Richelle are eager to bring back what they learned to enhance our strategies and ensure we continue providing the best care possible!

Alden recently participated in the 24th Annual AMCA Illinois Chapter Conference, where we shared insights and learned alongside over 120 case managers in healthcare. This event strengthened our relationships with key referral partners and fostered new connections. As hospital case managers evolve in their roles, Alden remains dedicated to supporting these vital contributors to improved patient outcomes.

We're wishing Irene White a happy retirement after 28 years of dedicated service! We recently celebrated her incredible journey with a heartfelt office party, meaningful farewell gifts, and personal notes of appreciation from her peers. Irene, you will be greatly missed! The rain couldn't stop the Alden Avengers from lacing up for a good cause this past weekend! We had a great time representing the Davidson-Brin Chapter of the Leukemia Research Foundation at the ABC 7 5K Run & 3K walk!

Thank you to everyone who supported us in raising awareness, donating for research toward finding a cure, and the fight against all blood cancers!

Our festivities ended with an ice cream social and 80s and 90s day! We have the best team of people here at Alden and we've truly enjoyed celebrating their hard work with a fun week of themes and activities!

We continued the celebration with an assortment of delicious apps! Everyone was pleased and walked away with a full stomach!

Our residents enjoyed our celebration with a delicious brunch and live performance by Jennifer Hall!

Today we celebrated one of our long-term residents 76th ! Help us wish Linda Beatty a very special Happy Birthday!

Our celebration continues with fun themes like Western day and Sports day! Today our nurses enjoyed wearing their favorite jersey's, pizza, and wings!

We couldn't think of a better way to kick off our celebration than with a breakfast cart for our before they start the day!

It was a pleasure representing Alden at the Health Care Council of Illinois - HCCI's Lobby Day at the Capitol in Springfield. Not only did we get to advocate for our residents and nursing homes, but our very own Tené Tillery participated in a press conference to discuss the challenges impacting long-term care.

Alden leaders and administrators attended the 62nd annual WHCA/WiCAL Spring Conference last week in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Our team had an amazing time attending educational sessions and interactive workshops where they got to walk away with cool prizes. Session topics included top trends impacting long-term care, leading to win, and navigating the future of healthcare safely. It was an eventful three days of education, team building, and fun! We look forward to next year's conference!

We threw a watch party for our staff and residents! Everyone had a great time and was excited to experience this together!

Our Alden team had a great time witnessing the together! Everyone enjoyed , Milkyway's, and Starbursts while listening to Spotify's "Total Solar Eclipse Playlist." We're so happy we got to experience this amazing phenomenon!

We had an Egg-cellent with our residents and families! Everyone enjoyed a delicious brunch prepared by dietary team followed by live entertainment!

Baseball season has officially started! Today is the Chicago Cubs home opener, and Rudy and Carl from Alden Poplar Creek are ready for game day!

Our 4th annual Turkey Drive benefitting children and families of the El Hogar Del Nino Childhood Center was a success! We're so grateful to be able help as many families as possible celebrate with a donation of 200 turkeys. As always, its a pleasure partnering with El Hogar and we look forward to next year!
