Who loves Texas Roadhouse! ST GEORGE! We attended the luncheon today to get info on fundraisers. Complementary lunch was provided with endless roadhouse buns! One of these lucky teachers pictured will also win the cart shown that we won in the raffle today! First dine to donate will be at Texas Roadhouse August 20th 3-10pm! No need to cook the first Tuesday back to school. **date change**

The day started for Chloe and Landon with Ellie and Ella at the Bourbonnais Fire Protection District Chloe and Landon won the fire truck ride to school and Ellie won the police car ride to school with Kankakee County Sheriff's Office. They got to tour the fire station and have some donuts. Then got to ride to school in a fire truck and police car when the whole school was outside waiting!

Sweet Darrens was there to serve the staff and students with ice cream! If you've never tasted their ice cream you're missing out!

Berkot's Super Foods donated 15 cases of water for field day

Mrs. Cooper was given her retirement gift from the PTO after teaching at St George got 35 years!

This evening during our final PTO meeting of the year we began with some very special business. We had the privilege of distributing the Torres scholarship award. This award is beyond meaningful to the hearts of our Raider family. It is presented to a member of the graduating class & is given in memory & recognition of Tanner Torres. We are grateful that the parents of Tanner attended tonight’s meeting & distributed the award to this years recipient! The recipient must submit a formal letter meeting certain criteria to be chosen. Congratulations to this years recipient of $200 towards their high school registration fees…. Madison Rodgers!! May we always keep the memory of Tanner alive & make his family proud!

Wrapped up staff appreciation with a baked potato bar and the famous roadhouse rolls and cinnamon butter. Homemade pulled pork and all the toppings.

Thank you Texas Roadhouse for donating the baked potato’s. Staff was behind excited for this meal!

Life is better with smoothies, tacos, and gift cards!

Today C-Mac's Smoothies came and made fresh smoothies for staff then Taco Del Norte for lunch. Staff also got 10.00 gift cards as part of staff appreciation week!

Anyway you slice it our staff is the best. Panera bagels were served for breakfast.

Then relax and unwind with 10 minute chair massages with fruit infused water and fresh fruit.

We would like thank all of our amazing staff for all that you do!! We are lucky to have each and everyone of you. We hope you enjoy your week. You deserve it ❤️

PTO will be showing our appreciation all week long! Please see attached flyer with what will be provided each day this week!!

To kick off the week we provided donuts, pastries, coffee and hot chocolate for breakfast this morning!
Then we will have freshly popped popcorn with some sweets to go with it!

We worked hard yesterday writing sweet notes and drawing pictures on the sidewalks for the staff to see as they entered the building! We would like to invite any parents and their student to come throughout the week (after school hours) to add additional notes and drawings!! Weather permitting!

What a great turn out for our first time having one there!! Thank you to everyone who attended!!

Friday marked the end of the 3rd quarter. Staff was treated to a yogurt breakfast bar and some Leprechaun shenanigans 🍀

🐸 Hoppy Leap Day!! It’s a great day to take a big leap!! The PTO had fun sorting frogs for each classroom & even hiding some around the school to bring an EXTRA day of smiles!! 🐸
