🌳 FreshGrass Foundation is thrilled to announce that we have now planted a total of 30,218 trees in support of One Tree Planted’s Appalachia Project, which helps restore Appalachia’s forests degraded by natural disasters and human activity.

Beginning in Fall 2021, FreshGrass pledged to plant a tree for every guest that comes through our FreshGrass North Adams (MASS MoCA) and Bentonville (The Momentary) festivals and ten for the performing artists to help offset carbon emissions! Thank YOU for helping contribute to our FreshGrass Forest and building a more sustainable future. In addition, FreshGrass encourages festival guests to bring their own refillable water bottles to help reduce single-use plastics, festival vendors have pledged to use compostable materials and try their best to source food from local/regional sources, helping our farms and neighbors.

🎙️Did you know that FreshGrass operates an intimate performance and recording studio in the heart of North Adams? Studio 9

The unique infrastructure is designed and built from the ground up with music, immersion and sustainability in mind. It is 100% carbon neutral and equipped with Meyer Sound state-of-the-art Constellation System and the Vive Enterprise Arena system for VR. Studio 9 is situated on the The Porches Inn at MASS MoCA campus and provides an unparalleled setting and vibe for live shows, professional recordings, and events.

🪡🧵 Locally made hats & totes from unused FreshGrass wristbands?! We’re thrilled to feature some incredible handmade merch this weekend, in very limited quantities, made by North Adams artist, Phyllis Criddle!

These items are lined in upcycled fabrics and sewn with second hand thread on a vintage 1950’s sewing machine. Each item is totally one of a kind and handcrafted by Phyllis from start to finish.
