Super Thank You to our Adult & Junior Counselors for volunteering their time for the weekend! Without our volunteers these experiences aren’t available to our youth!
4-H Shooting Sports Club members were back in action today at the Montgomery County Fish and Game Club Inc trap range for their 4-H competition. Very proud of all of the kids that braved the heat today to compete. Congratulations to Owen Kielman for shooting his first 25 Straight and to Alex Gray for his first place tie in his division. After a shoot off he brought home the silver buckle for second!!

On Tuesday June 18th Harlee Watson, Maggie McGlone, TJ McGlone, and Alec Hardin represented Fleming County 4-H yesterday at the State 4-H Livestock Judging Contest. TJ McGlone was 15th High Individual in the Junior Division and Maggie McGlone was 16th High Individual in the Senior Division. So proud of these kids and the hardwork and time they commit to Livestock Judging!!

Fleming 4-H Shooting Sports Trap team members Wyatt Keller & Carter Brewer had a great outing at the Elliott Co 4-H Invitational! Great job to Carter for placing in the top 7 and competing in a 4-way shootout for 3rd! So exciting!

Seth Spears won 3rd Place .22 Sport Rifle at the Bracken County 4-H Invitational while Wyatt Keller & Alexa Gray competed at the Estill County 4-H Trap Shoot!

4-H Electricity Workshop was electric! Youth learned about hooking up a parallel circuit or series and what each one means. We had some trial and error with our light bulbs but should have everyone up and running next week hopefully!

We are in need of a Healthcare Provider applicant. If you know of anyone who has an EMT certification or higher, and would like to spend their summer working at camp with us, please share this information with them. As many shares on this as possible would be greatly appreciated, as we are only 13 days away from our first day of summer camp!

4-H Shooting Sports got off to a great start last night at their first range practice!
On Friday April 12th, members of the 4-H Golden Reins Horse Club traveled to Columbus, OH to take in Equine Affaire! While there, members and their families viewed a variety of demonstrations, clinics, and learned about breeds from industry professionals and advocates. What a great opportunity! Thank you to club leader Shelby Moore for setting it up!
