One thing I always hear from coaches is how their athletes don't listen to them. Well folks here's a little tip for you...they shouldn't be actually listening to YOU their coach they should be listening to THEMSELVES! I think that many of us have grown up in a world of external factors driving us...coaches, bosses, books, presidents, the weather, the train schedule you name it outside factors are leading us. How do we become who we want to be? In my experience of raising our own 6 children and coaching 30 years in sports- the ideas of who we want to be start with a dream or vision. They are a culmination of experiences that we give our children. They are what we see WHO we see, and where we see things happen. [ 252 more words ]
