At Custom Dental Care, we provide comprehensive general dentistry services to keep you healthy and smiling. Our experienced staff strongly encourages long-lasting dental health by regular dental checkups every six months.

With regular dental visits, we can prevent common dental health problems such as tooth decay or periodontal disease by monitoring your teeth and gums. Good oral health can also prevent dental procedures such as cavity fillings, root canals and tooth extractions.

Custom Dental Care is owned by Dr. Ward Whitaker. Tampa Florida native, Dr. Ward Whitaker graduated from the University of South Florida with honors in 1985, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Dr. Whitaker went on to obtain the title of Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Florida, where he graduated in 1989. After graduation, Dr Whitaker went on to serve our country in the US Army as a General Dentist in Frankfurt Germany. Now, with over 25 years of dental experience, Dr. Whitaker takes pride in offering a personalized experience at his private practice in Tampa Florida
