Even a florist has to treat themselves!! I've been adoring Melissa's flower posts at Three Chicks Gardens! I FINALLY made it to the Detroit Lakes Farmer's Market last Saturday and got the LAST grab and go arrangement. Campanula are one of my F•A•V•O•R•I•T•E•S!! They were in the HOT 🔥 car for 3 hours, without water, while my family and I goofed around DL. I brought the sad, droopy flowers into the cabin and with a fresh cut, put them in plain water. Here they are, back home, a week later S•T•I•L•L GoRgEoUs 😍 Check out Melissa's beautiful locally grown beauties!! Don't be late!! When she's at the market - they go fast!!!

I am a fully trained florist with over 47 years of experience. Save yourself from an on-line/social media nightmare! Call the in town florist directly!! The internet can be so confusing 😕 There are so many scams out there 😔 If you're unsure who to call, call the local nursing home, hospital, or funeral home, and ask them for their local florist suggestion 😉 The last photo is what my voicemail looks like daily. Even my phone acknowledges them as spam!! Also... when you are calling a florist, it is definitely acceptable to ask how they were trained and how long they've been in business. Would you have your house built by someone who learned from a YouTube video or is selling a predone item they know nothing about?! I'm sharing these photos from another REAL, TRAINED, FULLY EXPERIENCED, FLORAL FRIEND 🧡

Near and dear one for me... Unfortunately my Princess Crown roses failed to open properly. The struggle can be very real... growers > suppliers > shipping > weather > humidity > time 😔 Somedays you just have to do the best you can with what you have. A couple of them came close, and the Quick Sand proved themselves worthy 😊
