🖤 “I started tattooing when I was 17 in Perth, Western Australia. I learnt the basics over there before moving to Melbourne when I was 20 to work at Victims of Ink, Port Melbourne. Moving to the east coast to be around top artists is what helped me progress as an artist and person, while refining my techniques. My style is Black & Grey realism. I do color but prefer B&G.” – Ben Pearce

It’s that time again!! We are proud to officially announce that is also one of our members! He started drawing portraits from a young age, but once he’d seen a TV series where a portrait was being tattooed, back in 2008 and he decided to take a look at a change of career. Meet , the latest addition to the Quantum Tattoo Ink Road Crew! Originally from Peru, Max has been making waves in Switzerland for over 7 years. With 24 years of tattooing experience, his journey started in Lima as a graffiti artist. Influenced by his artistic family, Max’s style beautifully merges Impressionism and watercolor, creating unique and evocative tattoos.

“Quantum pigments met my expectations for quality inks. I was impressed by their vibrant and solid colors,” says Max.

Words seem so feeble in moments like these. We are deeply saddened by the news we received today about the passing of our great friend Mao. He was a pioneer in the tattoo world, an example to many and a very dear friend. He will be missed tremendously. We want to wish his family strength to deal with this loss and remind you, he will always live on in everybody that he ever crossed paths with. Rest in peace dear Mao, until we meet again! 💔
