Our Story
Roundup Music Show is a family-oriented country music theater located in Brookland , AR. Showtime is 7:00 every Saturday night. Each week a band of talented musicians and multiple guest performers put on a new show as audience members relax in the comfortable 500+ seat auditorium and enjoy fresh popcorn, hot dogs, candy, and other snacks from the concession stand. Some say that entering the Roundup building is like taking a step back in time. Vintage posters and photographs adorn the walls of the lobby. The band plays songs that harken back to the golden era of country music, as well as modern favorites. Old friends reconnect each week and new friendships are formed. Hot popcorn is still only a dollar. Originating at the Forum in downtown Jonesboro in 1979, and later moving to a building at Westside, The Roundup has been in its current location since 1995. The Roundup is proud to still serve some loyal customers from it's earliest days, and many of the musicians that helped start the show still participate as well. The Roundup celebrates it’s 40 year anniversary in 2019 and we were honored to be nominated by the Arkansas Country Music Association as 2018 and 2019 Venue of the Year nominees.
