Closing day is by far the best part of the home buying process, so knowing what to expect can help you stay organized and stress free! 🥳

Here are some things to expect!

➡️ Where Will Closing Happen?

Your closing will most likely happen at the title company. They’ll have you set up in a conference room with all the paperwork you’ll need to sign. They’ll also have your new keys which is my favorite part!

➡️ What Should You Bring?

You’ll need to bring a photo ID and a cashier’s check for your funds for closing. You can also wire your funds directly to the title company ahead of time if you prefer. If you plan to wire, talk to your bank at least a week before closing to discuss the process and timeline. Some banks have a 48-hour processing time, so you’ll want to know that ahead of time.

➡️ How Long Does It Take?

Cornerstone will take care of the majority of the paperwork prior to closing day so that you can get straight to moving! Closing should take less than an hour, usually about 30 minutes.
