County of San Mateo Jobs For Youth Each year, San Mateo County Jobs for Youth served approximately 3,000 youth with employment services.

The San Mateo County Jobs for Youth (SMCJFY) program is a year-round program under the umbrella of the San Mateo County Human Resources, SMCJFY helps young adults who reside in San Mateo County, ages 14 to 21. Services do not have specific eligibility or income requirements and are available to serve all youth regardless of socio-economic or risk level. Contact Us: [email protected]

The City of South San Francisco is excited to announce its 4th annual Youth Summer Internship Program. YSIP provides high school students (ages 15 -18) with paid, hands-on learning and development opportunities while gaining exposure to local government, discovering available career paths at the City of South San Francisco, and building skills and a foundation for future success. No experience is required to apply! The 8-week program will run June 10 - August 2, and selected interns will work between 20-25 hours per week in one of the City’s departments.

Complete an interest form by Friday, April 12 at 5:00 p.m. to be considered. Interns will be selected via lottery drawing after initial eligibility screening. Link in bio.
