🌟 When it pays-off to not sleep!

My new favorite find while scrolling FB marketplace at 2:00 AM….

I believe I found a historic piece circa 1852-1870.

Marshall Field & Co. shipping box addressed to
Mr. Jackson Kemper Delafield, Wisconsin.

No need for a street address.

A search tells me that Mr. Jackson Kemper was the first missionary bishop of the Episcopal Church in the United States.

His death was in 1870 and Marshall Fields began in 1852 so it was shipped sometime between those years.

I just love history!

✨ Swanky Barware will forever and always be a favorite of mine.

Imagine my delight when I found a complete set of this 1960’s Libby set. Eight each pilsners, Tom Collins, highball, lowball and shot glasses.

At some point I will work on taking pictures of all my glassware from this era. All thrift and vintage finds. Think Mad Men 🤩

In the meantime, I need to plan a soirée to break-in these beauties!

Feel free to comment with a photo of your favorite glassware. {Points for extra-swanky!}

⛷ My favorite little ornaments with my favorite tiny marshmallow tin on my favorite scale…just a few of my favorite things! The ornaments () are “my boys”. I’ve always associated one with ❤️ and one with 💙 and the tiny tin from is simply one of my favorite finds that I leave out year round. Lastly, the scale was a shop piece brought in by .

🐿 “tiny squirrels” is how I priced this little cutie when I had the shop. Thankfully, it didn’t sell so it came home with me. It’s now one of my favorite little fall pieces.
