About Steps New York
The first Steps New York opened its doors in New York City in 1994. Today, Steps is still rolling out carefully curated collections of affordable fashion to women in New York City and beyond. Style mavens and budding fashionistas alike can satisfy their cravings for the latest trends in clothing, jewelry, and accessories without breaking the bank. The launch of sister store Kara New York in 1995 introduced a new take on the Steps aesthetic, offering a more mature, sophisticated collection in a boutique atmosphere.
From a single store in Manhattan, Steps New York has expanded to 30+ retail locations serving the New York, New Jersey, and Florida markets. Steps also operates two regional headquarters in Carlstadt, New Jersey and Miami, Florida.
