Long after the waters recede and the debris is removed, the devastation will remain. Help us make them whole again by donating or volunteering.
www.rebuildlivingston.org. Rebuild Livingston has been formed to address the long-term needs and oversee the funding of those needs to help rebuild lives following the record floods of August 2016. The committee is seeking funds through all available means and prioritizing the dispersal of these funds to affect persons within the 70706, 70726 & 70727 zip codes. The dilemma of a flood occurrence is
that long after the flood waters recede and the piles are removed from outside the home, there is an appearance of normalcy. The devastation that exists inside the home and within the family however is long lived. The assistance of federal, state and local government agencies and the payout of insurance settlements help but long after these resources are exhausted, there is a lot of work left to be done. That is the focus of the Rebuild Livingston. The RL is a partnership between the church community, business community, civic organizations and public sector and operates the Rebuild Livingston Fund donations to which are tax deductible as a Louisiana licensed 501(c)3 organization.
