We will not have the boat with us. It will simply just be ice cream delivery. 🍦

Pick up will be tomorrow, Sunday October 30th, after 5 p.m. If you can not do a pick up tomorrow please let us know and we can arrange something else.

We also have two freezers that need to find new homes. (7ft long freezer and stand up freezer) I can not get rid of the 7ft freezer until most of the ice cream is gone but if you are interested please let me know! 🍦

I just wanted to say thank you for all the kind messages and posts we have been receiving. It’s humbling to hear everyone’s stories and memories of us.

I do have one last request!

If anyone has any pictures of us, the boat, your kids with ice cream from us, you with ice cream from us, your dogs, whatever it may be, PLEASE send them to us! I want to make a big collage of all the great memories and smiles we have seen through out our past 3 years. I want to keep this collage forever so we can always remember the good times!

Hello Friends,

We finally have heard from our insurance company and are ready to share our news and what happened to the boat.

Unfortunately, she didn’t do so great in the storm. We lost a whole side of the boat. The back freezer flew open and broke and held a lot of water. The captains chair snapped in half. The floor needed to be replaced before the storm but now it’s just so much worse.

Between the costs of fixing it and the recent increase in ice cream prices again, it’s not doable anymore for us.

With everything that has happened we have decided to shut down the business 😞

This was a very hard decision for us to make and it breaks my heart into a million pieces. We have worked so hard to make this boat what it is. We have met so many amazing people who are now friends and family. So many amazing kids.

We want to thank everyone who has supported us these past 3 years. We love all of you guys. We are sad but we will forever cherish the memories we made on the Ice Cream Social Boat.

People will ask what we need and how they can help. It is simple. Please just remember us and all the good times we brought to you with the boat. We have put so much work and time into this boat. Every weekend we were out on the water for the past 3 years. We have missed family events and special occasions because our number 1 priority was this boat. We are not complaining by any means it was always our choice to be out there but this catastrophic event has made us realize it’s time for us to take a step back and spend our weekends with our little family and make new memories.

We will miss this boat terribly. It was our baby. Our hearts and souls went into every part of this boat. Again, I just want to thank you all for your support and kindness throughout the years. A boat family is like no other family. Everything is better on the water.

We will be back to Stump Pass and Boca, just not on the Ice Cream Boat. If you see us and recognize us please say Hi. Please understand this decision has weighed heavily on us but we are doing what is best for us.

Hello Everyone,

We are hoping you and your families are all safe from Hurricane Ian.

A lot of people have been asking us about the boat. Sadly, she did take on some damage. 😞

We will post pictures on here when we can but we want insurance to assess the damages before we make any final decisions.

We hope everyone continues to be safe and remember to be kind and humble. It’s a tough time for everyone.

You guys… it’s not our weekend… yesterday we lost a wheel bearing on the trailer.. managed to inch the trailer over to the ramp and put the boat in.. (figured we would go out and deal with the trailer after) well as luck would have it the boat motor wouldn’t start…. husband fixed all that last night! Great! Got to the ramp today, Had a great day! On our way home the OTHER wheel bearing on the trailer decided to blow out… needless to say my poor husband is out on the side of the road AGAIN fixing the trailer…
This poor man has busted his butt the past two days with this boat. I am going to honor his wishes and let him go fishing tomorrow rather than taking the ice cream boat out. 😂 He deserves it! So, we will not be on the water tomorrow. We will see you all soon! Enjoy your Labor Day! 🇺🇸
Ps: Thank you to everyone who helped us and called us to make sure we were okay and offered their help. And to those of you who fly by a broken down trailer on the side of the road almost running over my husband, I hope your significant other never has to take off a tire on the side of a busy road…

🚨 if you are across from the state park sandbar at Stump Pass, unfortunately, we are not able to get over there due to the waves and boat traffic. It’s too dangerous for us to cross the Chanel. We appogize for anyone over there Waving us down. 🚨

UPDATE: we lost a wheel baring on the trailer on the way to the ramp.. managed to get the boat in the water. Now the motor won’t start.. it’s not our day… don’t think we are making it out to the sandbar.. anyone wanna buy a boat and trailer 😡

Hi Everyone,
Due to the lack of boats out on the water at this time unfortunately, it’s not worth it for us to gas up the boat and go out there. We have decided to be off the water for a few weeks until it starts to pick back up. We plan to be back out Labor Day weekend!

It is not our week…

First, one of our freezers goes down loosing tons of ice cream (we are getting another one this evening) then our radio goes out because of the rain last night (it popped open and by the time we got to it, it was shot) we are also down a flag because one of our poles broke. 😫

But no worries!! We are on our way to Walmart to get a new radio and head to the ramp at Stump Pass! We may be a little later than usual but we will be out there a little after noon time!

Pray for us y’all. On top of this our AC is being replaced at home next week. It’s not our week but we are making the best of it lol 🤪

We had one of our freezers go out on the boat this morning so we are running a little behind.

We should be on the water by noon time! We are currently working out of 1 freezer so bare with us today!

Our Cocktail pop distributors had to make a run in Naples so they were ever so kind to swing through PC and drop us off our COCKTAIL POPS!!!

We are fully stocked and ready for the weekend!! ☀️

Hello Friends,

We will not be out on the water tomorrow as we have to work our weekly jobs but we plan to be out Sunday.

A few new things have risen to our attention this week.
1. Cocktail pops will no longer be delivering to Port Charlotte so unfortunately we will no longer be selling those. 😞 I am trying really hard to find another place that sells them but it’s almost impossible.
2. All of our distributors have stopped selling Chocolate Eclairs so once we run out those will be coming off the menu.
3. It has been EXTREMELY hard to get most of the products we currently sell from distributors. Weather they are out of them or discontinuing them.

Between the price increase in gas and the doubling of price in product it is getting very hard at times to keep this business going. We are doing everything we can and I am trying very hard not to raise prices but they may be going up in the very close future.

Also a reminder we are now charging $1 for an Credit/Debit Cards, Venmo and Applepay transaction.
