Fishing Buddies. Hunting Partners. Captain and First Mate. There are many titles you could label this couple as, but their favorite title is Husband and Wife. Spending quality time together is important to them both, and most of that time is spent outdoors. James and Torie have been hunting and fishing together since they were first boyfriend and girlfriend, 11 years ago. They live in a small farm town in South Georgia just off the Altamaha River. They learned early on that they shared a common passion for everything outdoors. Torie was never a girl who liked to be left behind, especially on a fun outdoor adventure, and most of the time she was (and still is) the only girl of the group on the boat or in the field. But that has never bothered her, and James always welcomes her along. They both enjoy doing what they love with each other. James and Torie expanded their interest in fishing this past fall and purchased their Excel F4 Shallow Water Series boat with a 37 EFI Mudd Buddy Motor. James jokes saying, “Torie wasn’t big on the idea of owning our own river boat at first, but now she won’t let me even think of getting rid of it. I taught her to drive and how to handle the Mud Buddy motor, and now, she’s hooked.” James and Torie enjoy setting limb lines and catching big catfish, trolling for white perch, Sunday strolls up and down the river, and they look forward to learning how to bowfishing with their new rig. When asked what they love most about their excel boat. They boat agreed, “We are no longer limited on finding the best fishing spots. Our boat allows us to maneuver into areas where most people can’t go with an average boat and motor. We feel since owning our excel boat that we have become more successful fisherman.” They have made many unforgettable memories together on the water, and we look forward to seeing where there Excel boat will take them next! and we love having you in the Excel boats /MudBuddy family !
