From Butter's foster family- "Butter is a very playful greyhound that loves toys and is a sweet little girl. She enjoys walks and is greyt in the car. She loves squirrel hunting in the park but does not pull much on the lead. Butter sleeps well at night on her bed and is very quiet. She would make a good solo pet or sibling to another greyhound."

New Aussie fosters Jose (3yo male, black with blue collar) and Jedda (5yo female, black with purple collar) are adjusting well in their foster home!

Their foster family said, "Really great personalities, happy as can be, and on the road to figuring out stairs!"

Yesterday we welcomed 10 new greyhounds from Australia. They are all settling in their foster homes. Here is a little bit about 2 of them from their foster home: "Aussie Fosters Benji (small black male) and Sonic (larger white and red male) settle down after a laaate night last night and are getting the lay of the land here with resident hounds Janie and Munch (both the girls approve 💕). Both boys are super sweet, already interested in toys and I caught Sonic roaching on our nanny cam while I was out running errands 🥰"

Yesterday, our permanent medical foster, Batman, crossed the rainbow bridge.
Here is a little note from Carol Vinnecomb:
"Born in Oct. 2018 we knew Batman would likely have an abbreviated life due to his many physical issues. His life may have been short, but it was one filled with heart and courage and supported by love. To Batman, his mangled right front leg was essential for hugging someone, for stroking my face when I’m sleeping, for moving things around and pointing at something he was trying to make a point about or if he was trying to point out the offending pet in any situation. We’re happy he showed us early on he wanted to keep that leg. He remained the sweet puppy with a curly black tail we met almost 6 years ago. Despite the adversity – we don’t think he even knew he had an adversity. Once he received his orthotic brace he ran and played in a whole new level of freedom. Batman faced all the obstacles thrown at him without hesitation. It was osteo-sarcoma in one of his three good legs that finally took away all fighting chances. As with his sister Robin, we will always carry Batman in our hearts and miss him. Would that we all could have the experience of living with such examples of courage."
