Families as Partners is a multi-session education opportunity for families who have students with IEPs. The series is focused on helping families build relationships with school staff and others that can lead to improved student outcomes.

The UW-Wisconsin Waisman Center is partnering with parents in our area to learn how they can support connections between families who have a child/youth with a special healthcare need. The Waisman Center hope to learn more about your experiences and what kinds of support exist.

The Center is looking to determine if families have found support from other parents who have a child with a special healthcare need. And whether families feel connected to a community where you can ask questions or find resources or just feel connected to others. The Center aims to create an inclusive environment to hear directly from families about their priorities, needs and challenges. Two virtual listening sessions will be held. Greenheck Everest Transition Academy Helps Students Discover What Is Possible 07/10/2022

Enjoy this article (link below) showcasing our GET Academy, which provides 18- to 21-year-old young adults with disabilities the opportunity to gain paid, hands-on work experience. We are grateful to the Greenheck Group and Northern Valley Industries for partnering with us to create this innovative program.

Greenheck Everest Transition Academy Helps Students Discover What Is Possible After months of preparation, brainstorming, and a good faith effort to define and prepare for all the “what ifs” — the Greenheck Everest Transition (GET) Academy was launched in September 2021.
