Remembering Thich Nhat Hanh
To be beautiful means to be yourself.
You don’t need to be accepted by others.
You need to accept yourself.
– Thich Nhat Hanh
We are born into this world on an inhale and we leave on an exhale. We are destined to so many breaths in this body but how we breathe is determined by our own practice and mindfulness.
Thay loved to share an abundance of ways to live our lives peacefully. One of
his mantras in meditation was ‘Inhale I’m alive. Exhale I smile’. This is how I know that when Thay exhaled his last breath, he was smiling and at peace.
Thank you Thich Nhat Hanh.
Thank you for the beautiful ways you taught us to shine and love one another but also to be at peace while living in this world. You are a true teacher of peace and your memory and teachings will carry on through all of those that embrace it.
Wow! Happy end to 2021. I have been adding to my yoga practice, walking and OnCore classes with my daughter, Jennifer Stevens, with the FitOn app. It helps me get going in the morning, and it even led me through a brief bedtime meditation. There's a lovely blend of yoga, Pilates, and weight training. Best of all, it's Free! I highly recommend adding to your healthy body/healthy mind routine now.
Goodnight sun!
