It’s Christmas in July!

While the thermometer says 🥵, our participants are keeping it 🥶 with cookies, ornaments, presents, and of course singing!

It was great having Niagara University Theatre at CSC today! The laughter was contagious and these young students had our participants laughing and clapping throughout!

HANCI is seeking your help in nominating a member of the Niagara County community for the 'Karen Albond Courage in Caring Award.'

This honor is given in memory of a longtime HANCI Board member who passed away in 2003 after significant volunteer and professional service in Niagara County. The award recognizes individuals in the Niagara community who persevere in service to others despite physical or developmental disabilities, or chronic illness.

We were proud to join the Lewiston Memorial Day Parade today to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our Country. 🇺🇸

These aren’t just any Complete Senior Care participants - they are individuals who are now riding in our NEW wheelchair passenger van!

Each month our transportation team facilities over 1,300 rides, moving hundreds of participants to appointments, procedures, and the CSC Day Center.

As our program continues to grow, we look forward to transporting our participants safely and comfortably to all of their destinations. 💙

The Council for Older Adults is looking for shutterbugs of all skill levels to participate in our online photography contest!

Open to all individuals 55 years and older, participants are encouraged to send us a digital photo(s) via email, flash drive, or through Facebook Messenger. Prizes will be awarded for the photo with the MOST likes!

This year's theme is "Niagara: Nostalgia or History Today".

Each person can submit up to 3 photos. All photos must be received by March 15th for consideration and will be displayed right here on our page! Need some help submitting? Give us a call at (716) 285-8224 x215.

The participants at Complete Senior Care enjoyed back to back activities this week as part of our Mardi Gras and Valentines Day celebrations. These smiling faces are the best parts of our day 💕

This January, the Volunteer Center, along with the help of HANCI staff, are collecting items for ‘Kids with Cancer’ to support The Children’s Hospital of Buffalo Foundation at Oishei Children’s Hospital. Local Girl Scout Jurni Harrington and her troop #70245 have chosen this initiative as their “SILVER PROJECT”.

Take the Master Plan for Aging survey today and shape the future of age-friendly policies in New York. The survey is available in 17 languages at ny.gov/mpa and time is running out, so respond by 1/31/24 to make sure your input is heard.

This holiday season, the participants at Complete Senior Care were blessed with some amazing gifts from the Lewiston Porter students and faculty.
A magical concert from the Lewiston-Porter Music Program was complemented by some tasty gingerbread treats provided by the kindergarten classes of Katie Ries, Carrie Zoda, Sarah Kasbaum and Katie Peters.

Valentine Surprise - Tim Dirig and Ron Keener, both participating in the Complete Senior Care Day Center program at the Health Association of Niagara County (HANCI), show off Valentine's Day cards created by kids from the Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club along with candy delivered by the United Way. The Women United of Greater Niagara partnered with the Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club and Health Association of Niagara County, Inc. to bring valentines and chocolate to seniors in Niagara County on Valentines Day.
