Going home… okay not me personally but our Anna tulle skirt is now available in Wasilla. Designed in Anchorage, photographed in Soldotna, now available for sale in Wasilla, she’s a totally Alaskan show-stopper. 🤩

Love flourishes, even in 100 degree heat.

Jut reminded in this heat wave of the 100 degree photoshoot from a couple years ago-how has it been so long?

Here’s to keeping cool. 😎

Happy Easter for those who celebrate Easter (or who just like candy and stuffed bunnies.) 🌷💐🐣🐰🐇

It’s officially the first day of spring! 💐💕 These photos were actually taken a few years ago in the fall but with the Seraphina gown (available on our website) and hand-crafted flower headband (ready to ship available at ) this is just so spring wood nymph. 🥰

I can’t believe this was taken 3 years ago! We did this photoshoot just days before lockdown. What a beautiful day and place—the side gardens were just blooming and it was so gloriously warm.

The regal was the perfect romantic backdrop for in our Astrid Gown. So lovely!

Gorgeous styled shoot to get you in the mood for spring—I totally am! Daffodil buds are just starting to form so it is right around the corner 🌼🌷.

I need to organize another styled photoshoot for this spring—maybe April? The last few years I’ve seen so many local photographers paying to take part in styled shoots or paying to rent apparel and I always love the photos—we have sooooo many impressively talented photographers in the PNW—but my thoughts are always the same: “Hey, I have a dress in a similar style. It’s that size too! Did they really pay $200 plus shipping to rent that dress?” I always have new styles I just designed that need pictures and photographer and stylists always need wardrobe. I’m a resource you can use rather that paying hundreds to rent a dress that’s been used before. Food for thought. 🙂

Honestly, I’m debating on whether to re-post all my spring styled shoots on my new account since it is spring and I would love to do another one that highlights the new flowers and tree blossoms alongside my newest pieces. But, Instagram is a dumpster fire right now.

I initially started an account to promote my business and network with other creatives and business owners in the wedding and fashion industry. It worked well for that for several years, but in the last couple years my feed has become 90% ads. And my new followers are mostly obvious bots (a single, thirst-trap picture with a sketchy bio is a sure fake account). I had the brilliant idea to challenge myself to post everyday for a month. Four days in, I had a few new followers (mostly bots), someone tried to sell me Monat and my account was hacked. Total. Dumpster. Fire.

So, I’m not going to spend a thousand hours setting up instagram shopping or use this for anything other than highlighting what I’m working on now and keeping up with local creatives and friends whose work I really want to promote but instagram just isn’t the way right now. 😢

Someone has hacked into my Instagram account. If you receive a strange message or request for money, etc. obviously it's totaly not me.

Labor Day sale. I rarely do a holiday sale anymore but everything is 15% off site wide. It’s the perfect time to pick a cover up, jacket, veil or accessories for your fall or winter wedding or order your winter wedding gown. 🥰

News is depressing so I’m taking a mental health moment to ogle these amazing photos from a collaboration a few weeks ago with local artists. 💕.

Depending on the poll, 70-80% of Americans want abortion to remain legal. Not anywhere near that many Americans wanted alcohol to remain legal during prohibition and that disaster of American history turned average citizens into criminals.

Last year it took a couple weeks for me to get my yearly gynecology appointment. This year it’s three months and a large part of that reason is out-of-state patients clamoring for abortion care. Next year it’ll be six months or more.

When healthcare is scarce everyone suffers—didn’t we just learn that? People will die of cancer who should’ve had it detected but couldn’t get their yearly checkup.

And women in states without abortion care will travel if they can. And some will die of self-induced abortions or ectopic pregnancies that should be treated. Should be but might not if you live in a state (Missouri) that has made it more difficult to treat them.

A few years ago Colorado funded iuds and birth control for all recipients 100% and the next year abortion rates there fell by 68%. Not went to the next state over, not bought medication from a Mexican pharmacy but legit 68% decrease. Considering between 20-30% of abortions are medically necessary to preserve the life and/or health of the mother, it doesn’t get any closer to no abortions than that. Considering strides in mens’ contraceptives, abortion as a form of birth control could be a thing of the past. It could’ve been. But with prohibition you don’t get real solutions, you get average people who become criminals. And you get more death.

It’s no accident that Alcoholics Anonymous was born in 1938, five years after the death of Prohibition. It was after people realize that prohibition doesn’t work that they looked towards other solutions and founded treatment programs that work for millions of people to this day.

If you are pro-life you really can’t be for prohibition. It’s already bringing more death (maternal mortality rates re at an all-time high in abortion-restricted states) and the eventual death toll will be horrific. That’s not pro-life. It’s not humane. It misguided at best and actively hoping for death at worse.

Deleted my Google place listing. I’ve had it for ten years and it worked in Anchorage to meet up with local brides who have special wants or who need an heirloom veil redone but anymore people want a storefront and one-stop shopping. So, as always my latest collections are on my website & Etsy and all local brides who need veil alterations or want a custom dress or veil can dm me or contact me through the website.

For one-stop bridal shopping that is locally owned & sustainable (consignment & samples) I recommend and in Anchorage . 💕

Three orders in the last week in white. When I first started out a decade ago everything was diamond white then it was champagne, n**e, blush, then every color under the sun, then black and now we are back to sparkling white.

What’s your favorite bridal color?
